Watch the sunrise on the Helm

A must on your hiking holiday! From mid-July to mid-September, the Sexten-Helm panoramic cable car takes you up to the mountain station in the dark. A one-hour walk later, and you will experience an extraordinary spectacle: witness the morning sun bathe the Sexten Dolomites in fanciful shades of purple, pink, and orange. It’s something you’ll never forget.

This leisurely loop trail leads through woods and meadows to the mythical healing springs of Wildbad. Stop there for a break and be amazed. Afterwards, continue to the Haunold Hut or back to the Andermax – it’s up to you!
